Funding Options
Hills Kids Occupational Therapy services can assist with the following funding options:
We see clients registered with NDIA who self manage funding or have funding managed by a third party agency.
Hills Kids Occupational Therapy is registered with the Medicare Chronic diseases management plan. 5 allied health sessions can be claimed in a 12 month period. A gap applies with this funding. A GP must refer for this using medicare item number 10958 prior to the appointment.
Children with Helping Children with Autism plans can continue to access these through to the end of March 2021.
Private Health insurance can also provide rebates for services. Contact your health fund for rebate rates. Please inquire with Hills Kids Occupational Therapy for information about the gap.
You may use either Medicare or private health fund rebates for an OT session but cannot claim a session under both.
Initial assessments are generally conducted over 2 sessions and are charged at standard sessional rates plus the preparation of a formal report. Please inquire about assessment rates based on your child's age and specific assessment needs.
Standard occupational therapy sessions are 45-60 minutes.
Please phone Calista at Hills Kids Occupational Therapy or visit the 'Contact' page to inquire about therapy options.
